GETTING THINGS DONE!
Excellent.
The priority has now shifted to protecting the American people.
JUMPING FOR JOY..!!
Mines are probably too much to hope for, but when I see the barbed wire I think tears of joy will well up in my eyes.
I have to wonder how much misery, how much abuse, how many lives have just been saved here? Beyond measure, I am thinking. We owe God a debt of profound debt of gratitude.
Can the ‘The Press’ be far behind racing to catch up with those poor, pathetic, rejected, travelers for heartbreaking interviews?
Maybe ‘Foxes Own’ Herwaldo is on a plane as we type.
what a terrible policy....sure wish I had thought of it....instead of "favoring" Muslims cuz we have a mess on our hands.
Russia?? We're the real losers in the sanctions but I have to play the game.
Egypt Air shouldn’t have landing rights.
Sad!
Yemenis make GREAT neighbors. /s
,
AMEN! Now make it ALL Muslim countries/people and make it PERMANENT!
Hooray
And some Somalis were shipped back Friday.
Every day is Christmas.
Can’t wait to see the New York Times front page pictures of poor little refugee girls crying.
I love this man!!!
As someone who witnessed 9/11 in person, and have watched at a distance the murder of Christmas celebrants, gay partiers, and good soldiers, this is my new year resolution come true!
Thank you, President Trump!
Scale does make a difference. If very large numbers of people are in this situation, I am open to reconsidering, but I will hazard a guess that there are perhaps only a few hundred people, and perhaps fewer, in this bind. These are negligible numbers. (If Obama went on a visa binge in the last weeks of his administration and gave visas to half of Jihadistan, that would be a different matter.) People will have made significant life choices and perhaps expended significant amounts of money on the naive belief that the U.S. government honored its commitments. The equity issue aside, arbitrary cancellation of an important document with no prior notification is an unforced error that gives opponents of the policy change compelling ammunition.
Please understand that I favor Trump's policy change going forward. And it should be broadened; I am in favor of sharply lower levels of total immigration and stringent control of the borders. BUT: retroactivity is a bad business. Policy changes that impose serious negative effects on individuals and businesses should be made prospectively, not retroactively. Someone who has a valid U.S. visa should be able to trust it. If there are good reasons for canceling visas, there should at least be a reasonable notification period. Someone should not close out all his affairs in his home country and show up at the airport, suitcase and ticket in hand, and find out his perfectly legal paperwork is no good.
Were all of these passengers young men? Of course that detail is left out.....
I simply CAN NOT WAIT For President Trump to sign executive orders on 2nd amendment carry. I will get in my car and drive to NYC with the biggest printing gun I can strap on.
But I’m not holding my breath. The EO seems to have forgotten about promises on guns so far.
I hope its on the agenda.
OUSTANDING !
Whatever happens in the near future I hope President Trump does Not back down,no matter what. The fire ants are about to explode out of their nests.
“”despite holding valid immigration visas, the sources said.””
So did the 9/11 terrorists.. I think it would be interesting if Trump ordered a background check on the ones refused permission to board the airplane to see just how “in depth” their vetting was...could show exactly what we suspect and provide the sound reason to keep them out!
The U. S. Embassy (our beloved hard working State Dept., employees) in Cairo no doubt processed the applications and issued the visas. Let’s see the paperwork...
