Tagline ....
Granted, and I suspect that we as voters are going to have them to drag them to the water and make them drink. They should see by now that their position in Congress isn’t because of their own merit. Donald Trump GAVE them that. They don’t have to like it, but they’d damned well better comply or get out.
The Republican Uniparty does not have a single set of gonads.
Please call Central Supply and have a pair issued.
Lets get down to the issues:
Issue 1: Healthcare has to be rationed. We cannot provide 100% health care for everyone. No politician can say this out loud.
Issue 2: Who decides health care issues? You and me, the insurance company, our government?
Issue 3: Who pays for it?
If I buy something for me with my money, I an concerned about price and quality
If I buy something for me with YOUR money, I am concerned about quality, NOT price.
If I buy something for you with MY money, I am concerned about price, not quality.
If I buy something for you with your money, I don’t care about price or quality.
Moving back toward a free market in the spectrum of government involvement IS the proper action.
You want utopia? Go to heaven.
Well said.
Only problem is that there is no free market entry on the supply side of healthcare. Given the regulatory environment, one cannot respond to market forces by quickly opening a new hospital or doctor's office.
Free market and government involvement is a contradiction in terms.
You want utopia? Go to heaven.
I'd settle for not making things worse. And the Republicans seem hell-bent on repeating Obamacare mistakes.
These Repubs have had years to come up with a plan. Too many parties to go to, I guess.
Please link me to where I said they would.
I don't think they really thought that they would ever have to.
Republicans offered my HC Plans, Obama rejected them: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/republicans-have-offered-three-alternative-health-care-reform-bills
And I imagine that they will dust them off, unite behind one, and push it through. And the results will probably be nothing what they thought they would be.
You don't think a government can play a role in creating or moving a market to become more free?
Who's suggesting that?
Not really, no. When you have government regulation of any kind you hinder the market, not free it.
No it isn't.
If government created bad public policy (ACA) in the first place, it takes "government involvement" to undo it.
Everyone who is advocating "repeal and replace".
They’re “replacing” it with free market reforms, plus interstate competition and portability.
Letting carriers sell real insurance.
FALLOUT?
You bastards let Obama destroy my healthcare plan, and now you’re whining about “fallout” from getting rid of it?
Personally, I’ll be watching you guys like a hawk, and if Trump gets a boil on his ass you Republicans better be first in line to offer him a cushion!
