Daughter of imprisoned IL Governor pens raw open letter to ‘spineless’ Obama for not pardoning her father January 27, 2017 | Carmine Sabia | The daughter of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich laced into former President Barack Obama for not pardoning her father who is in prison for corruption.
Amy Blagojevich, 20, called the former president “spineless” for not commuting her father’s sentence as he did for American traitor Chelsea Manning.
“You’ve betrayed the concept of justice like many other heartless individuals have done before you. I thought you were different. I thought you had a moral compass. Turns out you’re just like the rest – selfish and spineless,” Blagojevich who, along with her sister have written to President Obama several times on their father’s behalf, wrote. “You didn’t have to pardon him, only commute the sentence. You just had to let him come home. You didn’t,” she wrote. “You released others, like Chelsea Manning or FALN terrorists, who actually committed reprehensible crimes, but you failed to release an innocent man. Even if he was guilty of anything, the fourteen year sentence was extreme and you said yourself that you want to make sure that no one is being over sentenced.”

In the brutal email, posted by her mother, and Rod Blagojevich’s wife, Patti, the 20-year-old told President Obama that she “lost my respect for you.”
Amy said she did not share the media’s disappointment in the end of President Obama’s term.
“I’m not delusional – you’re not a saint. You were a mediocre president with unoriginal ideas,” she said.
“I want you to know how disappointed I am. I didn’t want to despise you, to have an almost visceral reaction to the mention or image of you. I truly thought you were a good person. I guess I was just as brainwashed as everyone else,” she said.
Blagojevich is in his fourth year of a 14 year prison sentence.
Blogo should have bent his gender. That would have greased the path out of the hoosegow.
A corrupt democrat wanting another corrupt democrat to pardon his corruption...
Maybe Blago should have committed an act of treason or terrorism to get on Obama’s radar.

The problem is that Blago has no pay to play money. He’s just another ex Illinois governor sent to jail.
The only option for Rod now is to write a tell-all book. Go public with the many crimes he and Obama were engaged in.
But so what? What good would that do now? So Obama is outed as a crook? Gee. Who knew?

I believe that the reason the FBI moved so quickly on Blago was that they had Obama and Blago on the phone together. They had to protect Obama.

Actually, he's far less of a scumbag. Blago didn't kill anyone, some of those Obama pardoned DID.
Former Illinois Governor George Ryan was guilty of FAR MORE corruption (that he actually completed/committed) than Blago and Ryan got a fraction of the sentence (a few short years) compared to Blago.
Also in Ryan's case, he actually did (indirectly) kill six children in one family via the Licenses for Bribes scandal and STILL got way less time than Blago did.
I'm as conservative as they come and I'll tell you, Blago should be out of mail by now. Scumbag? Yes, Douchebag? Yep, he is. Worse than George Ryan or any of the current District of Corruption elected officials? Nope.
Hmmm... Blago (sooner than later) will be found ‘unresponsive’ in his cell.
