The ten most populous cities where local leaders shield illegal immigrants from federal law could lose $2.27 billion in federal funds, a Reuters analysis has found. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and other large cities could lose federal funding for housing, education, airport improvements, HIV treatment, and more. “The [funding] numbers do not include federal money for law enforcement, which was excluded in the executive order, and programs like Medicaid, which are administered by state governments,” Reuters states.

Trump isn’t a politician, he’s an American. Politicians blather on throughout their campaign with promises that they never intend to keep. Trump is used to HAVING to do what he says he’s going to do. The real world.
This has been one of the most amazing times in politics and in America. President Trump has shown so much integrity, hard work, and courage...he is a true hero to me.
Big Sanctuary cities will have to start charging $20 for a small-sized soda (can’t have the Big Gulps!) to pay for all their illegal alien Democrat voters.

You’re so right. Our political class and their sycophants in the media and in our government have been living in a world of make believe. Their make believe world has finally crashed into reality, and it isn’t pretty for our country. President Trump gets that and let’s hope he can pull us out of this death spiral. This is the LAST chance to save the nation!
In other news...an additional 2.27 billion has been identified for wall construction.
With President Trump, I have trouble keeping up with all the promises he has kept just in the first week!!

I hope that federal dollars to sanctuary cities won’t just be on hold so that a city can refuse to cooperate for six months or a year, then give in and get back payments of the money withheld. I hope it’s structured so there will be a real cost to the cities for not cooperating.
Where are the sanctuary cities for US citizens who are tired of paying federal income taxes?
What location will shield me from the IRS and tax laws, and let me live out my days in peace (and prosperity)?

Or an even better title could be, Sanctuary Cities fund first 20% of the wall.
How about prosecuting those who’ve willfully violated federal law?
I’d think that the totality of government funding for schools, roads & transportation, grants and programs is MUCH, MUCH more than a paltry 2.27 Billion.
IT ALL SHOULD BE THREATENED!
We cannot allow these cities to continue cutting our collective throats with illegals.
All the limits and beliefs I have placed on myself have been totally obliterated by what I now know CAN be done. Anything is possible with bold vision and courage. I’ve never seen anything like this or know anybody like him.
Trump said he would end Obama’s illegal DACA program.
If he doesn’t, it becomes Trump’s illegal DACA program.
Oh so sad. They’ll also miss out on infrastructure like airports. Too bad when the airlines move their hubs out of town.
That seems like a very low amount.
The Tenth Amendment & Spending Clause will prove to be high hurdles & may be insurmountable.
