A few days before Inauguration Day, my 89-year-old black preacher dad said God is responsible for Trump becoming president. I thought about the scripture in which God says, "My ways are not your ways." Frustrated with Obama declaring America no longer a Christian nation while cramming the left's anti-God and anti-America agenda down our throats, millions have been intensely praying for our country.
If I were God, I would have answered Americans' prayers by making Ted Cruz president. But God is smarter than me.
Trump is exactly what America needs at this point in time. No traditional politician could get away with confronting anti-American leftist operatives in the media, calling out Washington establishment corruption, and boldly vowing to put America first. Few Republicans would have the cojones to even try.
As usual, despicable leftist media distorted Trump's awesome inaugural address, saying Trump's speech was reminiscent of Hitler.
Meanwhile, Americans were crying tears of joy. They have not heard such commonsense patriotism in a very, very long time. Leftists still do not understand whom they are dealing with in Trump and why We the People chose him over Hillary. Standard leftist tactics for silencing, destroying, intimidating, and blocking Republicans (calling them racist, sexist, and homophobic) have failed miserably on Trump.
Unlike most pro politicians, Trump has not been neutered in the politically correct school of politicking. Our 45th president is simply a patriotic, brilliant businessman following his instincts to make America great again.
Here are a few vows Trump made in his inaugural address that are as repulsive to the left the Cross is to Dracula.

I agree. One of the things brought up during the campaign was restoring religious freedoms to our churches. I think churches and synogogues etc. should be allowed to support poiticians and political movements. The churches have ALWAYS been America’s moral compass.
The MSMLSD are going to have their collective knickers in a twist the next eight years when Trump undoes what 0bama did to try to destroy the country. They’ll howl and wail and it’s going to be fun watching them implode. Bring out the popcorn.
Lloyd, I fully agree. Trump’s victory has many of God’s earmarks - the near-impossible way that it was done and bizarre combination of events (Hillary’s “pnuemonia”, Wikileaks releases, Comey’s last-minute switch) that Trump had no hand in, and truly in a way nobody could have conceived.
I had also prayed that Trump’s victory was such that the Democrats could not try to overturn one state to steal the election and you saw what happened - they tried to overturn three states! Then they tried to intimidate the Electoral College, delegitimize the results and finally just make up fake news and hurl insults like defeated children.
I, too, thought Cruz made the better vehicle for God’s revolution but we saw in the primaries why Trump was better. Trump probed every way to get under Ted’s skin and succeeded with the personal attacks on Cruz’ family. Trump never cracked under the pressure of lies and fake news thrown his way. We can expect many more below-the-belt trashings of Trump to continue and Our Lord saw that we needed someone with the thickest skin possible - a non-politician.
Like Saul and Solomon, I can see God’s blessing roll off the rails if the king turns back into idol worship or hedonism but Trump can also be America’s last chance to turn back from it’s increasingly evil ways before the inevitable end times begin.
God is like a chessmaster and He loves making moves that the enemy could not have forseen. Just watch how the fates have changed for Hillary Clinton in the past nine months. God loves to reward the humble and bring down the prideful.
I’m not sure we will get what we thought we wanted out of President Trump. Anything than President Hillary is surely better. But I’m certainly pleased with the majority of what I’ve seen so far and amazed that the same egotistical boob I watched on The Apprentice all these years could possibly be this effective so far. I’ll just enjoy the ride while it lasts and hope it opens the door to a President Pence in the future (someone who probably never gets elected nationally without Trump).
Trump becoming presidential is like a football team late in the game going in a prevent defense. You have you foot on their throat, keep it there. Trump got elected to be Trump.
I agree; We the People want our freedom back, and our country back!
