Lazy AP reporting as if we live in 1985 with radio, television and newspapers.

The most recent inauguration was probably the most watched, since the DC Metro had 420,000 riders and three huge sections of the mall were filled. Plus, most people viewed online with CSPAN, Fox Phoenix and numerous other sites.

Exactly right. Lying media. The TRUTH is that TV’s share of viewers has decreased dramatically over the last 8 years. The only ones who could stand watching biased inauguration TV coverage were the deceived. So the internet total could be at least 10 million. The dishonest media is just trying to prop itself up.

this is the propaganda machine. they pimp out news of protestors for weeks, cause delays and disruptions, and then brag about people not showing. Yea okay.
The fact is they are attempting to stop us from celebrating, and gathering peaceable with their violence, and discourage people with their fake news, lies, and pics. It has to be stopped and combated. It’s not about competition it’s about stopping or curtailing their lies.

NBC had another 9 million live streams.... other streams had another 7+ million according to YouTube.

Easily the most watched inauguration. Trump had 45 million viewers to Obama’s 37 in 2009.

Which doesn't take into account the millions more with the ability/desire to live stream who did not 8 years ago

And those with TVs not connected to cables, phone lines or internet so they can be monitored.

I missed it. I had to work. But if I hadn’t, I’d would have watched it.

Absolutely. Wouldn’t be surprised if those watching by streaming far exceeded any other method to watch.

Along with adoption of streaming- it was the middle of a workday and as such a easy method to see U.S. history being made live.

I know that people were watching the Inauguration at home or at the local pubs. There was NO TRAFFIC, no cars, no activity on the roads for about two hours in my area. It was so quiet. It was overcast. When President Trump said “America First” The sun came out and shone so brightly. It was awesome to behold. Soon after, the traffic started.
