President Obama and his team still engage in a hissy fit over Donald Trump's questioning Obama's place of birth... ...in 2000, a number of disgruntled Democrats referred to him as "President Select."
Now President-elect Trump is being hammered over his refusal to except the intelligence community's consensus about Russia's alleged role in the election. All of the intel agencies maintain that the Russian government attempted to influence our election, and that Russia preferred Trump over Hillary Clinton.
From the outset, Trump doubted both the argument that Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee and that the release of damaging emails was designed to give him an advantage... ...unanimous opinion of our intel agencies probably has more to do with his rejection of the narrative that but for Russia he would not be president.
Russian President Vladimir Putin did not tell Clinton to put a private server in her basement... ...or to falsely claim that she never sent or received information that was stamped classified.
Putin did not tell the DNC to ridicule the name of a black woman or... ...John Podesta to agree that the Iran deal is "the greatest appeasement since Chamberlain gave Czechoslovakia to Hitler."
But the "Trump doesn't respect the intel community" argument raises another issue. Why doesn't Obama get the same criticism for rejecting his national security and intelligence team's advice on Iraq?...
...Think about it. Obama, with barely two years of experience in the Senate, and no foreign-policy experience, rejected the unanimous advice of his mission security team. He pulled completely out of Iraq, a decision that aided and abetted the rise of ISIS.
Trump gets hammered for ignoring the unanimous opinion of the intelligence community; Obama makes one of the most consequential decisions by completely ignoring their advice. And, as usual, Obama gets a pass.

This ‘story’ of Russian involvement in our election has been lied about, obfuscated, filtered and focused to fit a political intelligence political narrative fashioned by a soon-to-be-former President who won’t have sh!t to say about it come 12:01 PM today.
Languishing over this useless stopgap now offers only solace in a rabid Democrat last bleat. Enjoy it. It will mean nothing at noon today.
He did more than that. He left tons and tons of freshly received munitions stacked and ready to be delivered into the hands of ISIS.
What unanimous opinion?
Reading between the lines only 2 men pushed this “ report” as an IC document
Clapper and Brennan
No other agency put their name or reputation on it
The head of NSA Cyber made a private trip to meet with Trump
Voices will,be heard as of today
Larry Elder's wishful thinking has Trump disrespecting the Intel community. The leftists have been so wrong so many times, how can they expect anyone to believe them?
Many people do not like having Obama appointed leftists serving him in the Intel community as "leaders" and gate-keepers. Have they supported fake news?
Get rid of those leftists, and we will again have a respected Intel community.
I know this is petty, but do we have editors or proofreaders at all any more? “Now President-elect Trump is being hammered over his refusal to except the intelligence community’s consensus about Russia’s alleged role in the election.” I believe the word he meant to use is “accept”, not “except”.
From what I’ve seen they’ve done little to earn respect in recent years.
Except? Really?

“Their”(sic) usually drunk by 10 am.
Who to believe — Obama’s intelligence community, or Putin? Tough choice, but, after recent events, I’m leaning toward Putin.
I was wondering the same thing.
The got everything right accept that part.
expat, are you still active?
I haven’t seen you since the inauguration.
Hey, where the heck are you? We miss you. : (
