Anybody out there have a current, more accurate cost of their total vacations?
They just want to balance out all the stories they wrote about Zer0 screwing up traffic all over the place...../sarc

The $85 million looks more like it. Because when I first read the figure recently, I thought to myself, these leeches spent almost $100 million on tax-payer funded vacations and I haven’t been able to go on vacation but once in the last 20 years.

I don’t like the act of traveling. Just thinking about getting in and out of so many conveyances makes me grumpy.

I wonder what the cost would be to put a helipad on Trump Tower. My hunch is that buildings are built with helipads in mind and that they usually aren’t installed as an afterthought.

That reported plan is probably just one of the dozen ways of transporting them back and forth. Security-wise you don’t want to take the same route each time.
LBJ used to fly AF-1 into Austin, TX and then helicopter to his ranch or lake house for the weekends. We’d see 4-5 helicopters flying over on Friday afternoons.
