Outgoing U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Monday said that it was the fault of Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) that a peace deal was not agreed upon during the Obama administration.
Speaking to Christiane Amanpour on CNN, Kerry rejected Amanpours assertion that the administration failed to broker a peace deal.
The leaders of the two countries involved one country and one entity, the Palestinian Authority have failed to come to the table and reach agreement. You know the old saying you can lead a horse to water, you cant make it drink. Now, we did a lot of leading to a lot of water, but people decided they werent ready for one reason or another to move, he said.
Kerry also defended the administrations decision to abstain during the vote at the UN Security Council on Resolution 2334, which condemned Israeli communities in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem.

Kerry and his co-conspirators should be marched off to prison... for the rest of their lives.
Its Israel’s fault for refusing to commit national suicide so Obama could have gotten his second Nobel Peace Prize.
No wonder Kerry is deeply disappointed.
Ping.
Maybe Kerry and Hillary and their ilk can finally get off the stage - not only are they dangerous, they’re stupid.
As usual, no mention of ongoing terrorist attacks against Israel’s citizenry. No mention of the Palestinians’ admitted intention of driving every Jew into the sea.
False choice. Kerry says it either has to be a nation of Palestine and a nation of Israel. OR that they must combine into one nation which the moslems will take over by numbers and votes.
He leaves out the third choice. Palestine is always occupied enemy territory, and is never annexed nor given back.
That is the only sane answer. Israel keeps it, lets settler in, runs it, etc. But it never becomes part of Israel per se.
Or...
Israel annexes the territories it took in a defensive action in 1967 and deports all Muslims who don’t want to live in peace as citizens of Israel to other Muslim countries.
Let me fix that for you, John:
You can lead a horse-face to water, you cant make it drink.
Hey John, "why the long face?".
Stop me if you've heard this one before, John:
A jackass and John Kerry walk into a bar - oops, I'm repeating myself again...
Remember what Zuheir Mohsen said a “state of Palestine” was, to wit merely “a means of continuing our struggle against the State of Israel for our Arab unity”. There was never any intention of creating their own state at all, but to re-conquer the whole area for Islam in a fit of Ottoman Caliphate revanchism. And once their empire is rebuilt, on to the rest of the globe.
Idiot! They’re Jews not Unitarians!
It’s way past time for this antisemitic moron to make acquaintance with this wonderful new product: Superglue Lipstick!
Good. The two-state solution has been dead for a long time, it’s about time people recognize it.
A unitary state... unlike our friends in Saudi, Turkey, Yemen, Iran, Qatar, the UAE, and to a lesser extent (thanks Al-Sisi, you da man) Egypt.
It was never alive at any time.
The “Palestinians” are the ones actually pushing the “one-state solution”, which is really the One Caliphate Solution.
That is the sensible option.

Not sure I agree, but if that's what Israel wants, how is it Kerry's business. IMO political positions and particularly the scent of antisemitism around Obama's decisions are a perfectly legitimate reason not to wish to socialize with an individual. I don't see how this represents intolerance or a lack of regard for history.
