I talked to the gal at the register of a lefty cafe that I sometimes visit (for the sake of the pretty decent food). They had a plate of cookies, some of which were “world peace cookies.” I mentioned to her just before parting, that nine out of ten times, a war means that some politician has screwed up. And that we need to watch our politicians carefully. She had the most quizzical look on her face... more lefties than you might think, know who was banging the war drums in the last few weeks, and it wasn’t Trump or Putin.
...because her mind knew you meant Trump, and yet she knew he hadn't even been sworn in yet, so she decided to wait until he was sworn in and then if a war broke out, it would be true.
