Trump doesn’t use email. Assange said he had some stuff on Trump, but it wasn’t anything the public hasn’t already heard about.

Not just Assange and email but anit-Trumper’s, must have a group of people, probably within the Government, combing Trumps past with a fine tooth comb.
Which obviously they found nothing worth while or we would have heard about it.
All they have is to make stuff up.
That is why they are “backing away” from what is likely forged or faked documents.
