Inequality?! I'd say repression and outright sabotage of economic initiative is the real culprit.
Lack of economic growth leads to stagnation, unfairness and eventually to desperation.
Redistributing dwindling resources won't fix that. Socialism won't fix that.
And note: Islamic Terrorism is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT problem, unrelated to European economics.
