I have remained passive as long as the progressives only waged war on marshmallow areas which are largely words surrounded by nothingness.
However, they are infecting my area (physics/engineering) and this is now war.
Try to even find a “climate scientist” prior to Algore. Its all about money - grant money, aka “free momey” for academics. Nothing but greed and opportunism, fueled by the liberal hate America crowd.
Certainly not for Professor Curry. She has been consistently honest and astute throughout her career.
There shouldn’t be federally backed loans for fake majors and if the university truly feels such measures are valuable then they should share in the Financial Risk if the candidate proves unable to find a job.
universities talk like those majors are valuable so let them act that way.
Right now the taxpayers are financing hatred of America. well you’re free to hate America but it should only be part of the taxpayers who pay for that BS.

Nothing new here: “Research and other professional activities are professionally rewarded only if they are channeled in certain directions approved by a politicized academic establishment — funding, ease of getting your papers published, getting hired in prestigious positions, appointments to prestigious committees and boards, professional recognition, etc,” she wrote. “How young scientists are to navigate all this is beyond me, and it often becomes a battle of scientific integrity versus career suicide.”
A friend who taught report writing to scientists at CDC reported the same thing back in the 1980s. Back then, in order to get funding, whatever work you did for the CDC has to be related to AIDS breaking out into the general population.
