Citing increasingly sophisticated cyber bad actors and an election infrastructure that's "vital to our national interests," Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is designating U.S. election systems critical infrastructure, a move that provides more federal help for state and local governments to keep their election systems safe from tampering.
"Given the vital role elections play in this country, it is clear that certain systems and assets of election infrastructure meet the definition of critical infrastructure, in fact and in law," Johnson said in a statement Friday. He added: "Particularly in these times, this designation is simply the right and obvious thing to do."

DHS tried to hack Georgia’s voter database more than once, unsuccessfully. Did the other 20 states that were supposedly targeted do their own traces or did they just take Johnson’s word for it? DHS might have been the culprit in those cases, too, using it as an excuse to gain control.
This “grand” idea SHOULD receive a resounding “NO!!!!” from all states. GA and one other state turned it down last month.
If you give them more money....how exactly will they spend it? My guess is that there’s a list of “protection” companies (contractors) out there and it’s like a mafia operation....you pay them and assume they will “protect” you.
The question should be...what did the Russians really hack? I’ve yet to hear one legit description of anything within the actual voting mechanism.
What....did they put dead people on the voting rolls (some people estimate half a million exist, maybe more). What....did they put duplicates on the voting lists (it’s already existed for decades)? Did they put illegal citizens on the voting lists....something that has been going for a decade?
It’s about the biggest and most fake topic of discussion I’ve seen in five years.
They say Russia did NOT do anything to the election system per se, yet now they “need” more money? With money comes control and more jobs for Rats.

Hey, Jeh, or whatever your real name is, I have a better idea: paper ballots for all federal elections and observers from the 50 states (because we don’t trust you, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, and other crooked leftist federal cronies) posted in places like Philadelphia, Detroit, Los Angeles, etc. to make sure only citizens are voting (but not citizens from the grave yards).
The same federal government that tried to hack the systems in Georgia?

HSS Jeh Johnson is trying to move elections control from the 50 states to the federal central government. The critical infrastructure designation allows the feds to step in and manage/control the infrastructure. The feds start by saying they just want to help with extra federal money. Later, the feds come and say since it was upgraded with federal money, we feds get to tell you how we feds want it run.
Beware this federal offer of “help.”
Before the election, they all said that the election system was secure, that Trump’s fears were ridiculous, and that only a moron or a liar would suggest that there could be any serious problems.
- ID (everyone’s go to)
- single day (no ‘early voting’)
- no ‘absentee’ ballots (unless proven out of country\etc.).
- paper ballots
- chain of custody of all voting materials w/ random audit (no more ‘lost\found’ ballots, etc.)
- jail time + fine + loss of future voting rights for fraud. (2 yr + $1M+\per, pegged to inflation). Govt\employees = same as above + loss of position + loss of any/all benefits.
Should take, maybe, 2 pages for a Bill to get passed :)
