If Robert Bork is still alive I would love to see them appoint him just so he could retire a month later.
He deserved it, would have been great, and provided much needed intelligence.

I remember when Justice Roberts was nominated. There was great speculation on who it would be. At the appointed time, Bush stepped to the podium and announced the nominee without saying his name. Roberts then came out of a door and walked down the hall to podium.
I have a fantasy of Rush Limbaugh coming out of the door walking to the podium and introducing the candidate by name. The candidate would then come out the same door and go to the podium. The left would all die of heart attacks in the interum. ;o)
Bork is long ago passed on.
