Barack Obama came into the White House in a cloud of glory and optimism.
He defined the problems that the nation faced in his first inaugural address. First, the nation was at war with a network of violence and hatred. Second, our economy was badly weakened. Homes were lost, and businesses shuttered. Health care was too expensive. Schools failed their students. And finally, "less measurable, but no less profound, is a sapping of confidence across our land; a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable." Obama promised that he and the country would meet these challenges head on.
Eight years later, as Obama prepares to depart the White House, he leaves the nation in a cloud of disappointment, recrimination, and even paranoia. None of the wars Obama inherited are truly over, and he has started or joined America to several more. If anything, the sense of America's decline is even more palpable than before...

Did the waters begin to recede? I haven’t been keeping up.
The bastard helped ISIS to grow. He supported BLM. He showed his hatred for this country. He’s leaving big problems for Trump.
No surprise to those of us with intelligence. This was all predictable from the beginning. It’s a bit like the fall of the Trade Towers. By God’s grace the death toll wasn’t 40,000. Likewise, by God’s grace the damage to America has been hindered somewhat from what the traitorous non-American desired to inflict.
Actually since the Bushes were lousy presidents and their reputation took Jeb out in the primaries and brought in Trump, you can say that
it’s Bushes fault”.
You can also say that “it will be a long time before a black president is given another shot”. If you say that, chances are you are a racist.
President Trump needs to have a closed-door meeting with whichever worthless foreign turd is currently UN Secretary and tell him in no uncertain terms that the Resolution on Israel must be withdrawn within say 60 days, or he can expect to see all UN funding from the United States to cease. And If I were him, I’d make it very clear that the UN HQ in Manhattan may need to be “repurposed.”

I believe Trump will take us back to being a great country, but it will take time and work...

If Obama were a conservative just imagine what he could have done for this nation. Imagine if Obama just stood on the national stage and said, “HEY, Black people. cut it out!!! Slavery ended 150 years ago, time to move on.”
That one statement alone could have led to an era of great peace and prosperity.

Besides Trump doesn't want to use the pack of lies with scattered truths thrown in that Obama gave as his inaugural speech.
He wants to give an uplifting one like the Inaugural Address of Ronald Reagan that was given on Tuesday, January 20, 1981.
I would call it a blessed end to 8 years of scorched American earth policy.
