Actually I disagree with Trump on this. That too was a bad deal, and hopefully it did not expend much time or energy.

Ideally, the states need to amend the Constitution to give themselves the power to recall state sovereignty-ignoring career lawmakers.
1) In the past, the GOP would force us into trying to defend their nearly indefensible position... then they would end up backing off of it in the end anyway.
2) I have some leftie Facebook friends who posted stuff telling people to call their representative to complain about this... I was able to post a response to them, telling them "no need... Trump took care of it!"... I know they hate that!!! That they agree with something Trump did... LOL.. So sweet...
If Ryan wants to keep showing his ‘independence’ from Trump, by laughing off Trump’s campaign promises (particularly the wall, but also others) - then Trump will make his life VERY UNPLEASANT.
