I think the dirty little statistical secret is if it only harms one in a million, that still means hundreds of children are harmed by any intervention. They are collateral damage. People don’t realize that the level of acceptable damage is set by policy makers without input from those at risk.

There are gatekeepers here on various issues, just as in any other discussion forum. They can identified by the juveniloid name calling and personal smears aimed at those of us who do not accept the establishment position on various issues, vaccination being a prominent example. Someone (the feds, a drug company, snopes etc etc) pays their freight. I do not recall if the person you mention debated vaccination with me. If he/she did, it wasn’t a memorable experience...
