It has been well reported that the Social Security Administration (“SSA”) had been passing along information of individuals that it deemed unable to handle their financial affairs to NICS for the purposes of preventing them from purchasing a firearm due to being “adjudicated as a mental defective.”
In May of this year, the SSA published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. It received over 91,000 comments relating to the proposed rule. Of those, 86,860 were identical letters submitted by various individuals of a single advocacy group, opposing the proposed rule.
On December 19, 2016, the SSA published a Final Rule on the Federal Register pertaining to its regulations. While the regulations take effect on January 18, 2017 compliance is not required until December 19, 2017.

The smart veteran never tells the VA anything about their guns or personal life other than what directly involves a medical condition.
I know of VA doctors who where not American by birth who perk right up if they see a veteran is on anti-depressants because then they can ban that vet from buying a gun through an FFL. These are not good people who are watching out for vets; quite the opposite.
Besides, if a person is taking anti-depressants aren’t they supposed to be okay, or are they saying their treatment doesn’t really work? They can’t have it both ways.
More unconstitutional bull crap that Trump has to overturn when he gets in. “ADJUDICATED” means a judge decided, not some faceless bureaucrat. Rights can’t be legally taken without a judicial proceeding.

The left has been very busy these last 8 years working on ways to disarm as many Americans as they can and reduce all our freedoms. One day we should repay that favor by, oh I don’t know, putting them on prison chain gangs working on farms to grow our food or something productive like that. Twenty plus years of that should readjust their mentally defective thinking a little or at least just get them out of our hair for that time frame...

Yeah, I think I heard something from the po-po chief in chitcago yesterday that since the current stack of gun laws doesn’t seem to working to well there, some more 2nd amendment infringements are in order. My solution? BIGGER “””NO GUN ZONE””” SIGNS. Sheesh. It ain’t that hard.
With a clinton presidency, this policy would have developed into a generalized ban on firearms for anyone who applies for SS benefits.

Given the life expectancy differential between various people in the US, this has the effect of harming whites more than blacks.
