Secretary of State John Kerry laid out his vision of a Middle East peace deal on Wednesday. Rather than achieve peace between Israel and Palestinians, however, Kerry will be remembered for catalyzing terrorism and setting back the cause of peace for decades, if not permanently. The problems are not only ego and pique, the twisted personal motivations of Kerry and President Obama, but also the false conventional wisdom upon which Kerry and his aides operate.
Here is what they get wrong:
Intransigence: Who is holding up peace? After long and careful negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority brokered by the United States and the broader international community, Israeli leaders offered their Palestinian counterparts peace deals in 2000 and 2008. Both the late Palestinian chairman Yasser Arafat and his successor Mahmoud Abbas rejected the offers and walked away, without offering a counter proposal. When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu froze settlement construction upon Obama's request, Abbas again refused for nine months to even talk to the Israelis.

What he got wrong in his speech was he didn’t end it fifty minutes earlier than he did!
“Final Status Agreement” sounds too much like “The Final Solution”.

The peace process was nothing more than charade.
The bottom line: If the arabs disarmed tomorrow, there would be peace. If the Israelis disarmed tomorrow, they would be invaded and destroyed.
The Arabs are all secular or Islamic dictatorships. They need an external enemy to justify the repressive nature of their regimes.
Last, do they think nobody saw what happened in the Gaza Strip when it was given to the Palestinians? The Jews were removed and they palis were given a turn key city in perfect shape. They immediately turned it into a rocket firing terror base.

What he got wrong was even making the speech.
Actually, what he REALLY got wrong was getting up this morning with the idea that he really matters any more.

Just about everything.
He starts with the wrong premise (that a two-state solution is possible) and descends from there. “Palestinian” is NOT a nationality, nor does it describe a cultural or ethnic cohesion. These are people who were castoffs from the nation of their origin, driven from the land of their forefathers as a form of generational exile, and for the most part, they subscribe to some kind of banditry, and have no concept of national identity.
They are not even very good Muslims.
What did that mashed faced goon get wrong? How about “kill all the Jews and wipe Israel off the map” for starters.
The first thing Kerry got wrong is opening his mouth to speak in the first place.
I suspect the reason Sharon withdrew from Gaza was to show the world that the two state solution was delusional, that the Arab who call themselves Palestinians can’t govern them selves in any civilized manner.
He was right about the Arabs. His mistake was thinking the world gives a damn. The world shares the delusion that the two state solution would work, or they want it to result in the annihilation of the Jews.
