The bottom line: If the arabs disarmed tomorrow, there would be peace. If the Israelis disarmed tomorrow, they would be invaded and destroyed.
The Arabs are all secular or Islamic dictatorships. They need an external enemy to justify the repressive nature of their regimes.
Last, do they think nobody saw what happened in the Gaza Strip when it was given to the Palestinians? The Jews were removed and they palis were given a turn key city in perfect shape. They immediately turned it into a rocket firing terror base.
I suspect the reason Sharon withdrew from Gaza was to show the world that the two state solution was delusional, that the Arab who call themselves Palestinians can’t govern them selves in any civilized manner.
He was right about the Arabs. His mistake was thinking the world gives a damn. The world shares the delusion that the two state solution would work, or they want it to result in the annihilation of the Jews.
