Just got my 500 gallon tank refilled, and here in N. Texas it’s $1.75 a gallon - or much more if you buy it from Ferrell!

“Quick Answer
A 100-pound propane tank holds 23.6 gallons of propane. A propane tank is considered full at 80 percent capacity and should be refilled as soon as possible if it drops to 30 percent capacity. Keeping the tank at an appropriate capacity is a safety measure. Continue Reading “

Most are 20lbs or 100lbs in semi-portable refillable tanks, the 250 gal, 500 gal, and 1,000 gal tanks propane aren’t portable.

I bought a 500 gal tank, but I should have bought a 1,000 gal.

A 1,000 gal would last me all winter, allowing you refilling in summer when the price is way less.

When I ran the 5 30’x90’ GHs in winter, and heated all the bldgs, we burnt thru 2,000-2,500gals/mo, and got monthly deliveries from Suburban. Except for the main bldg, I cut all that out after 3yrs, as the ROI on growing exotics just wasn’t there. Switched to perennials, which needed a winter freeze, and were far more profitable.

You would think bottles would be of different sizes, does he mean a bottle like on a gas grill? Or the big large submarine looking thing my Uncle has behind his house?

I live in eastern Maine, and the CBS affiliate station in Bangor, Maine did a story on this loon the other night.

They interviewed him, with his face partially blurred. He has a big bushy gray beard, and apparently he made these stupid comments because he is retiring and selling his business.

It my area, there are at least three choices for people who buy propane, so I doubt if this guy in western Maine has a monopoly on propane sales.

In his county in western Maine, Trump received 58% of the vote.

People have been leaving some salty messages on his answering machine. They played on the news the comments of one woman who shouted, “I don’t want your f-—ing oil!”

LOL!

So the sore loser democrat wanted to make a statement. But why does he hide his face in the TV interview? Isn't he proud to be a Hillary supporter? If he is selling his business and retiring, how much of a statement is he able to make? It is really a lie since he won't be around to sell the propane anyway. All it is is temporary grandstanding, attention getting behavior. And as for selling his business, it seems like a very stupid move to me. When you sell a business like his you generally sell the customer list with it. But if you have gone ahead and insulted and rejected over half of your customers, the value of the business is far less. Logic is not strong with this one.
