There will be a lot more stuff like this in the coming years, when irresponsible girls can't afford birth control, and can't get a legal abortion.
I have heard heartbreaking stories from a relative who works in a quasi social services job. The worst one was about another young mom who went clubbing. Some women are just too stupid to be decent mothers.
Thankfully this poor boy survived, had it been July or January, he might not have. But the fear and pain he experienced must have been horrible :(.
The penalty this girl receives can not be enough in my opinion. It doesn’t say but I assume she had left the baby with the babysitter she thought the baby was at. The babysitter should never have allowed her to take that baby if that is the case. She too was very negligent as the woman by all accounts was obviously very drunk. She should have called the police and reported her at the very least.
Anyone check the comments? Some nitwit says there will be more of these incidents once Trump makes abortion illegal.

The child was strapped in the car for 14 hours. He sat in the freezing cold in a wet diaper. It is a miracle he is still alive.

The history of abortion and contraception suggests strongly that if both become illegal again there will follow a strong increase in females becoming more responsible and fewer “unwanted” pregnancies and neglected children.

There is no way to explain to this person how they just negated their own argument. Dumb as a rock.
This is what that poster hopes happens, so he can crow about how right he was and how evil republicans are. I do believe that some people who are that invested in abortion would be pleased to see a child suffer and die so they can point to it and say "see, if only it had been aborted it would have never had to go through that, it's Trump's fault". Like this guy did. And the more often he can say that, the happier he will be.
Some parents shouldn’t have a doll in my humble opinion, let alone a child.
