DING DING DING- we have a Winner!
THIS IS THE BIGGEST FAKE NEWS SITE OF ALL!!
(once in a while they will put in an interesting Nova
or such— but that is just fluff - to get suckers to stay tuned for the next indoctrinating Leftist diatribe)
More arrogant, “holier than thou” Liberal commentators would be looking for a job. Other than that, nothing.
I would not miss it.
Maybe some Oldies specials on public TV
But most everyone who works or listens/watches are left wingers
Who need to find real jobs in the real world
Get rid of NPR and public TV. Government has no business in the sector, esp the “news” and opinion sector
I would have one less enemy.
“If there is programming people want to watch then someone will sponsor it or it will end up on a pay to watch medium like the internet or cable”
“Thats called market capitalism!
Amen! Hopefully Trump will do away with this bs of us having to pay for tv channels that we don’t want to watch.
Give us a cafeteria approach to our tv choices.
We are boycotting NFL and the slew of NFL regurgitation channels/programs.
We don’t speak Spanish, Chicom or some SE Asia language, why do we have to pay for those channels.
Regardless, we will be cutting the Comcast TV Cord next month and using Sling/Roku and streaming tv products on the internet on our smart tv. Sling enables us to watch local TV stations as part of their package or for $5/month for CBS and ABC.
*** “If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound” ***
Naw, even if someone or a recording device was there it wouldn’t make a sound, just noise.
Since we still have no means for Everyday Joe’s words to be heard, we still need public broadcasting...
/s
The airwaves and we would be better for it.
Re Britcoms > Usenet
My dyslexia is kicking in again. I read the title as
“What if Puerto Rico disappeared?”
If shows like Morning Edition, etc. were truly neutral or balanced I might have a different opinion—but 95% is so obviously slanted left or hard left I can’t stomach it.
May be different, but as I told my wife, you’ve got a much better than 75% chance that every time you turn it on, you will have some story where the focus is about either gay rights, or feminism, or oppression of minorities. Everything they do is filtered through those biases.
While I occasionally check into Public Radio, nothing in my life, nor any ones life that I personally know, would change in anyway if PR was gone.
What if public radio disappeared? My guess: lots of crappy tote bags gather dust in a warehouse.
We’d stop wasting our tax money, for one.
What if Trump started funding Limbaugh?
