“We do, problem is, it goes to the Ninth Circuit.”

And let’s not forget the En Banc that overturned Peruta. Peruta will now go to the “New SCOTUS” and be overturned. The three judge panel that originally found Peruta to be Constitutional wrote a masterful brief which will give the SCOTUS a clear roadmap to overruling the En Banc decision.

Yup,I know...the 9th Circus is an absolute disgrace.IIRC their rulings are more often overturned by SCOTUS than the rulings of just about any other Federal court in the country. There are three recent SCOTUS decisions regarding 2A that I know of...one from New York, one from Illinois and one from Massachusetts (which,BTW,is fun to read...even for an amateur like myself).

IMO they,SCOTUS,has a responsibility to spell out in detail what represents "reasonable".For example,Massachusetts law states that police chiefs have almost complete power to approve or deny applications for a gun license.I've read that there are many such chiefs here in Communist Massachusetts who deny the overwhelming majority of applications...even from respectable, law abiding types.

Sounds unreasonable to me...particularly in light of the Massachusetts case I mentioned above (Massachusetts SCOTUS Ruling).

The federal Congress has the 14th Amendment power to intervene with state laws like California's anti-2nd Amendment law.

But as evidenced by Congress letting lawless presidents and non-elected federal bureaucrats get away with harrassing the sovereign states with state powers that they have stolen from the states, I don’t see corrupt Congress lifting a finger to do anything about California’s gun law.

Pro-2nd Amendment Trump certainly has his work cut out for him.

Although you could make the argument that it COULD have been worded better:...

You've got a point there but it doesn't really make any difference to a person who can read and understand plain English (judges and politicians excepted) which the Founding Fathers no doubt intended.

What if it read...

... "The moon, being made of green cheese, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

It wouldn't have changed the real meaning of the Amendment. Only evil- minded judges and slimy politicians can do that.

Prop 63 will be overturned in SCOTUS or, if we are lucky, in the weird 9th.

A featurelss build means no flash hider, no pistol grip, no asdjustable stock or forward grip. Eliminating the “evil features” of the scary black rifle.

Think turning a AR platform into something compliant like a Mini-14.

Very, very few “registered” their rifles the first time the liberals pulled this way back in the 90’s or so. Same thing likely to happen, and few magazines will be turned in.

so they are TAKING private property without hearing or compensation.

It is a good thing the electoral college quarantines califonia.

Northern California should separate.

What are the gun laws like in NV, OR a and AZ? I would expect they are going to be more than a few private sales in the gray markets.

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Apologies, I need to make one small correction, but it is a big one. Your first comma is not in the Constitution, but it has been added by liberals for years to change the Founders' meaning to only the government being entitled to bear arms.

Here is the properly punctuated sentence, in all it's glory:

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

And to think, the ORIGINAL INTENT of the waiting period was to prevent suicides. Now it is just to hassle gun buyers.

if states regulate the militia and all the population is considered as militia, why can’t the state regulate the arms used by the militia?

Even TEXAS understood the purpose of arms back in 1836!

From the Texas Declaration of Independence..

“It (MEXICO) has demanded us to deliver up our arms, which are essential to our defence, the rightful property of freemen, and formidable only to tyrannical governments. “

Glad my guns and I moved from that sewer over a year ago to Colorado where we have open carry or “Constitutional” carry as some call it. One day recently, I walked into a Walmart behind a guy armed with a 9mm on his right side...I felt right at home!

I would never give up my carbine’s 30 round clips under any circumstances...if the govt. can arm the IRS, then me too and moreso...

It sucks. No way around it.

But, I am glad I’ve my gear. Nothing registered. No serial numbers And fully legal. Unfortunately, the CA lawmakers have finally caught wind of the 80% lowers and I think these are now affected.
