President-elect Donald Trump celebrated the official tally of the electoral college vote, taking the opportunity to boast about his unexpected victory. “Today marks a historic electoral landslide victory in our nation’s democracy,” he said in a statement.
Trump has been celebrating his victory since winning the election on November 8th. But he took the opportunity to humiliate the media and Democratic protesters after weeks of speculation that the electoral college could theoretically choose a different candidate.
“We did it!” he wrote on Twitter. “Thank you to all of my great supporters, we just officially won the election (despite all of the distorted and inaccurate media).”

Lots to celebrate; Trump defeated Hillary in the election, Trump defeated Hillary in the recount, and the coup failed (subversion of electors in electoral college).
This is the first time in over 8 years that I haven’t felt like a target in my own country of birth.

He should just keep saying “historic elcotoral landslide victory” the gives me a mandate, regardless of what the left says! Just keep saying it! like the left does! Over and over and over - MANDATE - just keep saying it - OVER And over and over - JUST KEEP SAYING IT - over and over and OVER!

He’s brilliant to call it a landslide. The media will have a fit and screech about how it’s not one. He’s an expert at keeping his enemies upset over meaningless stuff, and taking over the news cycle with a sentence or two.

I spent entire evening yesterday watching video’s on youtube, of the liberal meltdown after Trump reached 270+ comfortably. So much to celebrate!
He went into this against astronomical odds.
Damn he's good....and NEVER have we seen such controversy in an election....
And such poor losers.
Though in the course of history, this election was probably less controversial than many....relative to the times, i.e., many more issues now.

Expect the news media to lead off with faux news like, Forty percent of Americans just polled do not believe it’s a landslide, or are dissatisfied with Trump’s position. Fake polls to push an agenda are the new news and it’s garbage news, plus they won’t follow it with an iota of positive news about Trump. It’s like, eat this cr@@, America, because we’re told to feed it to you.
The media gave it their best, but lost 4 elections in 5 weeks.
