The mother of a Democratic National Committee staffer shot dead in Washington D.C. in August has again appealed for help to catch his killer.
Seth Conrad Rich, 27, was gunned down in the affluent Bloomingdale neighborhood in July while he was on the phone to his girlfriend.
With no clues, police initially offered a $25,000 reward, but the sum has now been upped to $125,000, as announced by Rich's mother, Mary Rich, during a press conference on Monday.
'You have two people who shot my son twice in the back. We're not going to stop until we find my son's murderer. We will find his murderer, but we need all of you,' she said.

When were the DNC- wiki leaks revealed? How soon after his murder? (When were they received by JA?)

How does she know this? Did ballistics show two different guns were used?

Would Assange verify Rich as one of his sources? That would put the motive for this murder front and center.

Assange suggested Rich might have been his source. He said they never out sources though.
Would seem if the guy is dead it wouldn’t matter outing him at this point. But he brought up Seth Rich as a possible source.
If Rich was the source, reprisals against family and friends would be a very good reason not to name him after his death.
Assange has offered a reward for information on Rich’s killers. This is virtual verification.
He may not know for certain it was Rich but he certainly suspects he was involved
