I’m no lawyer, but a simple reading of “to an eminent degree, endowed with the requisite qualifications” means to follow Article II, Section 1 with regard to the requirements for President of the United States.
Do these idiots on the Left not understand that their “brand” is COMPLETELY ruined because of bat-zhit crazy stunts like this?
These kinds of bandwagons are invariably jumped on by has-been actors, who hope the publicity will jumpstart their career again, or at least lead to them being offered a bit part here & there. When your career is dead, it's a case of: "Any PR is good PR".
Top line actors (no matter how liberal they are personally) who know they have a huge fan base in Red States, will say mild things in support of Dem candidates and attend their Hollywood fundrai$er$, but seem to avoid attending the most obnoxious or vitriolic activist events. (It's a balancing act between their fan base who buy their product, versus the Hollywood establishment who make the casting decisions. Can't afford to p*** off either group too badly, or say goodbye to flying your personal LearJet all over the world to those trendy "Minimize Your Carbon Footprint!" events.)
