Rick Perry will make an Excellent Secretary of Energy!

Popular Governor of a State with a GDP the size of Russia and the Largest Energy Producing State in America. Yet, these fools think some egg headed professor is more qualified!

Go Trump! Make me tired of Winning!

how to live, what to drive or not drive,

There was an article recently by Steve Chu talking about the virtues of riding his bicycle to work every day. But he road from his home in Palo Alto to his lab at Stanford University. Most of us don't live that kind of fairy tale life. What about the guy who has to cart around a truck full of tools to do a real job.

What was it someone said about intellectual but idiot.

There are two types of Military.

The Politicians. Colin Powell and Wesly Clark are examples of guys who played the poltical game to get to potions of power. They are more politician then warrior

Then there are the Warriors like Mattais. They got the job by being very very good at getting it done.

So far Trump has done a very good job of hiring the Warrior class and avoiding the Political class.

The New York Slimes is the wrong paper to try to question adult motives.

When are they going to learn that being opposed by the NYT is a badge of honor amongst conservatives?

Sorry but the experts weren’t that good. No practical application. No real understanding of the potential and use of nature’s battery, the hydrocarbon.

One of our younger relatives lives within a few miles from where he works.

During good weather and daylight saving time, he rides one of his bikes to work and will ride an extra 10 15 miles going home.

However, he doesn’t ride his bike to or from work during standard time. To many bikers get hit at night by half blind vehicle drivers.

Each year in the bay area several bikers are killed or seriously injured. Often that is the fault of the vehicle driver. Sadly, many bikers with a green brain over riding their common sense are riding when and where they shouldn’t be, get killed or seriously injured.

“Change it back to the old AEC and dump everything else.”

Send this good suggestion to the Trump team.

If they love “scientist” so much then why don’t they hire one to run the New York Times?

“After 25 years of working in high tech I can tell you that scientists more often than not make the worst managers.”

Same observation here. In my multi-branch company, they would take the highest producing salesman, and make him the branch manager. They were generally seen as not good managers.

Really? Let us not forget that DOE was created by that dumbass Jimmy Carter for the express purpose of reducing dependence on foreign oil. When DOE was created in 1977, US dependence on foreign oil was less than 40%; today it’s approximately 80%. It appears that those nobel laureate physicists haven’t done such a shit-hot job after all, doesn’t it.

But, but, but.... they have been pushing green energy technology. Like solar towers of power and wind power. We have to get rid of dirty goal, greenhouse gases, and remember that nuclear is BAD!

The thing about opinions in the NY Times is that they are always WRONG, and this is no exception.

The New York Times is the ad agency for the Democrat Party.
