IN 1950, I stood at a train station in Hutchinson, Kansas. People got off the train at 6 degrees, and said it was WARM. When they had gotten on the train it was minus 16 and for them, it was warm at 6 degrees. It comes and goes. It all is much context. When I complain, I remember Ernest Shackleton and his expedition to Antartica.

They’ve actually declared a plowed field to be a mountain range somewhere out west, I’ve read. It’s lunacy, anti-private property and quite honestly anti-human being. Needs to stop.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

When I was a boy, they used to call this winter. We would put on mittens, hats and furry coats and go about our business.

Now we have scary things like polar vortexs and we need to shelter in place and cancel outdoor activities. My town cancelled their annual Winterfest a couple years ago on account of snow and cold. I am not making that up.

"Can anyone recommend a nice town in Arizona or Texas?"

You can always come here to Dallas and laugh at all the little hipster faggots who think 45 is cold. I saw one yesterday in Irving, wearing one of those skiiers' half-facemasks. I laughed at him...hope he heard me.

My favorite of all the election coverage is the meltdown by The Young Turks. They entered that night smiling and cocksure. By the end, Cenk was squawking about “taking over the democrat party” and spewing some neurotic noise about how Elizabeth Warren will hand Trump his ass in 2020. It’s some seriously good stuff!

"This phrase is once again in the headlines, and worth re-defining."

"Re-defining"? How about "re-stating"? Only is CBS La La land can you redefine a word every time you use it.

The Polar Vortex sounds more Global. Gotta use the right narrative to scare the kiddies on the whole global warming bunk.

"So where is global warming?"

I know you're joking, but, it goes sort of like this: Warm air rises, cold air sinks, and the earth spins. This is all unrelated to SUVs and cattle farts. The warm air rising at the equator is mostly moving along with the equator at 1000 mph (otherwise there would be a 1000 mph wind there). Since the poles aren't moving at all, by the time the air gets there (it takes some twists and turns along the way) and starts to sink, it's spinning. That makes it a vortex - spinning air. This has all been happening for a long time, ever since the earth was spinning and had air. The "Polar Vortex" is just a scary new name for it.
