There was a similar situation a couple weeks ago. Woman refused to get off plane after conducting herself in a manner that caused the flight crew to require her to leave.
If there’s any justice, her baggage made it to San Diego.

The officer apparently has had no training in “compliance”. Dragging a dead weight is the hard way to do things. “Encouraging” the subject to “voluntarily” cooperate and walk under their own motation while being “encouraged” and “guided” is a much easier way to do it. Untrained, you have to rely on brute force. Much easier to use the mind than the muscles. Think pressure points, joint locks and similar simple persuasion techniques.
A few pokes with something sharp and pointy would have had her moving off under he own power...
