JERUSALEM — It’s no secret that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a thorny personal relationship with the leader of his country’s closest ally, President Obama. There is a long litany of faux pas and numerous public comments showing that there is no love lost between these two...

The trip was meant to mark 25 years of bilateral relations between Israel and Russia but, as many in both countries pointed out, it also indicated a blooming “bromance” between the Russian president and the Israeli prime minister.

If you're a pathetic, weak, irrelevant trash, like the Washington Post, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, the Democrats, et al., getting along with other countries and building alliances is being a "BFF" and a "bromance". Both the media and its client, liberal-left politics, have become both infantile and intolerant.

I can wait for all the heads to explode when we see a Trump-Netanyahu-Putin meeting. On MSNBC we'll see Rachel Maddow cradling Glenn Beck, telling him it'll be okay, that the CIA will stage a coup, start a civil war, and will make things right again.

Agreed — describing a meeting between two world leaders, both of whom were in combat situations and likely killed people — as if it was a meeting between teenagers (BFF, bromance) is embarrassing. But that’s what the Washington Post is today. Going hip and trendy to the point of superficiality and irrelevance. This Ruth Elgash would be writing the fashion beat or gossip column in any other paper. But the Post seems just fine covering international relations as if its the fashion beat or gossip column.

WTH is it with this rag? They are infatuated with Russia.

Honestly two world leaders on the big stage talking to each other is now called BFF!!!

I can only guess that the Post and Times have a bunch of kids fresh from college and aging hippies work there.

Russia doesn’t seem very effective in removing ISIS...or landing safely on an aircraft carrier

Yet the MSM and liberals fawn over that Gulf monarchy which funded 20% of Clinton’s campaign. That monarchy whose authority is enforced by beheadings, lashings and the torture chamber. And the CIA is doing KSA’s dirty work in Yemen against Houthi anti-Saudi rebels (freedom fighters in the traditional, non-McCain, sense). Forget compartmentalizing, there is a dangerous collective psychosis on the left and I’m afraid it won’t abate.

Trump’s going to have to visit Moscow just to express regret for the behavior of Democrats.

That Russia never bothered with aircraft carriers and pilots with those skills is pretty good evidence that Russia saw its military as national defense and never had imperialist intentions. I.e., didn't intend take its show on the road and be a bludgeon for geo-strategic stop-and-frisks. But don't tell the neocons this, they'll have an aneurysm.

No the left won’t abate at all. They are firmly in their belief that they are smart, others are stupid, and they know what is best.

If they were willing to kill more civilians and some US troops they might kill more ISIS

Palmyra and the oil fields were liberated of ISIS almost 7 months ago

Aleppo is tightening - Assad will win

But then The US brokers a deal for evacuations of “ moderate rebels” and their “ families” out of Aleppo and Mosul, the USAF bombs the shit out of an Iraq army unit blocking ISIS escape from Mosul , obama signs an eo authorizing weapons for “ foreign forces” operating in SYRIA and bada bing

thousands of vermin head for Raqqa and Palmyra, hiding among civilians , UNESCO sites and in proximity to the oil fields

What a coinky dink

I'm afraid that even with a soaring economy, renewed hope in the American dream, better international relations and less war, that the left won't care and still obsess over divisive social agendas. In which case this won't end well. I.e., we are heading for a civil war. The recent discussion suggesting Trump move federal agencies and assets to middle America is smart and could mitigate this coming clash.

There inlies the problem with the left. As you so rightly stated the left are obsessed with social issues. Regardless if the next few years brings us the golden era of America, the left will still not change, and work as a country together.
