They won super majorities in the state legislature. It would appear that the supermajority of Californians put them there. They can do whatever they want. Elections have consequences, to coin a phrase.
It would be a good idea now for California Republicans and Conservatives to stop their circular firing squad and to try to win some elections.

I agree. Those on FR who say let CA leave the USofA don’t think of the threat that could end up being to the rest of the nation. Maybe by the next election after Trump does a first term of clean up, CA residents will more fully realize what a mess they are in.
