Thanks to the new media, I think we have a better ability to fight back against the fake news than we did during the Bush administration.
However, I am concerned about all the anti-Russian sentiment among the left. Hillary indicated that she wants an all-out military war with Russia, and it seems that others on the left have picked up this theme. They are making every effort to paint Russia as being the exact same USSR that we were all afraid of prior to the break-up. Now that we have President Trump, who has not even hinted that he desires war with Russia (or anyone else), they are doubling down on the “big bad Russia” theme.
The USSR no longer exists. Our relationship with Russia is aloof, but not hostile. Each country allows visitors from the other country. But the left wants to go back to the days of hostility. Why?
May I make a comment about the corrosive political climate which the libs continue to engender thru sites like the homepage of Yahoo, which yesterday showed a photo of Trump waving his finger in the air with caption that he is tweeting bullying messages to union leaders and a sixteen year old girl - don’t know what that is all about but I’m sure it’s a distortion - We need our own national news channel. I only turn on the local news for the weather and find they lead with anti-Trump and anti-Republican spin on national stories, the Republicans are against the miner’s health care, blah blah.
Here we go again. Soon the narrative will be the CIA has “intelligence” that the election was hacked by the russians. They wont have a shred of evidence mind you but they will present it as FACT. And Snopes will back them up. And we will be ridiculed and mocked for daring to question them. Stupid annoying liberals. SSDD.
Oh yes and we cant release this overwhelming mountain of evidence that the russians hacked the election because it is highly sensitive and classified and by doing so we risk starting WWIII. Stupid annoying liberals. SSDD.
