The latest batch of moonbattery stems from the New York Times and Washington Post who are now quoting mysterious and secret sources, within the CIA, who claim the Russians were involved in the 2016 presidential election… or something:

There is another possibility here. The “leak” maybe the real leakers inside our Government trying to cover their tracks.

This is an ongoing effort to de-legitimize Trump. There were very successful with the total destruction of GWB. It wouldn’t matter which Republic won or how big the margin was, they would still be doing the same thing. It works with their constituents and that’s all that matters.

They’ve looked, and looked and looked... for evidence of hacking and other signs of Russian intervention in the election and they’ve come up empty.
Latest party/MSM line is Trump is a Manchurian Candidate elected to advance Russian interests.
This would be downright funny if it wasn’t so stupid.
If you go back to a few weeks before the election, several credible people associated with the intelligence community came out and said that the source of Wikileaks documents was the US intelligence community, people who were sick and tired of Obama and Hillary scoffing at the laws and acting without regard for national security. I tend to believe them. For one thing, Wikileaks “leaks”, they don’t source anything. And an “inside source” is much more credible than Russian hackers, just look at what Snowden was able to do as a contract employee.
I was looking on the DUmp however and while a) they are idiots and b) they are in denial, they are absolutely posivitely convinced that Trump won because the Russians helped him. So in the long run it’s probably a good thing that this “probe” of Obamas be done, as it at least provides an opportunity for the issue to be examined.
I suspect the left and right will agree on global warming sooner than we will be of one mind about Russian hackers however.
I think they are nurturing this “news” to validate the excuse that they will be using in the future for whatever reason. I am sure the Russians were responsible for all the emails on Weiner’s computer, they hacked in and planted them.
