If you don’t want radioactive seawater on your Pacific shoreline America, supply Japan with their energy needs. They will buy every ton of LNG we can supply and so will China and S.Korea.
Then turn your eyes toward France where they recently had an explosion in one of their nuclear power plants. France too would be receptive to our LNG. With all the environmental concerns, there are plenty of countries who would be willing to retool their energy industry to accept LNG as their main fuel source. By supplying W.Europe with our LNG, it would make that continent independent of Russia which is Europe’s main gas supplier. Both Russia and China would be more amenable at the negotiation table. Just as OPEC was able to control their oil-hungry customers, so the US can politically influence their LNG customers. Pax Americana led by a president Trump can become a reality. Crude oil is an outdated fuel while clean-burning, versitile LNG is the fuel of the future, which can be used for power generation, home heating and automotive fuel, whereas oil requires chemical processing before it may be used for similar purposes. President Trump, please order the energy independence program to commence.
Until the time that France will have to do some emergency cooling water dumping from their many nuclear power plants.(60% of their energy needs is generated by nuclear power plants.)
