Lefties, due to their weakness, will tend to kiss up to someone important.

This is the chance for Donald to teach THEM what magnanimity is all about.

He won’t entrap Trump into that green jobs lie. Trump knows it was a big fat flop.

You want a job creator, how about preparing humanity for the next cold ice age period we know is coming. Geologist use facts to illustrate that these cold periods have occurred at regular intervals. They have dominated the recent past. AGW accolytes use computer models to predict what warming might occur due to high levels of CO2. If Decapitated and the AGW accolytes are wrong, civilization gets wiped out during this next cold ice age period. If us Global Coolers and the Geologists are wrong, we just get prepared for the next cold period that is guaranteed to come. And the slight AGW that might be occurring, would just delay the cold period slightly.

What is nice about this is that while we are looking at this politically, there are non political parts to this as well. The president is the president of all Americans. He has promised that he would be. A big part of being the president is just acting like one, listening to citizens, comforting them when the Space Shuttle explodes, cheering the Olympic team, etc. Trump is already spending significant amounts of time listening to people that did not vote for him and don’t agree with him. While all 350 million of us can’t do this, he makes it seem like anyone can go to Trump Tower and have some time talking to him. This is very presidential.

I thought Obama already did that? Oh wait, a whole lot of those green companies who got Federal money from Obama failed.

Below is a link to the list of Green Companies that failed under Obama. The full list is approximately one-third of the way down the page, and it's a doozie:

List of Failed Obama Green Energy & Solar Companies in the Billions

I wonder if DeCrapio noticed who Trump appointed to run the EPA.

I am loving Trump for seeing these wackos. He’s nice & polite with them. Promises to “keep a open mind” & then does what he said he was going to do in the 1st place.

Maybe he could stand out front of Trump Tower & burn DeCrapio’s documentary for the cameras. He won’t but a part of me wishes he would.

What is the most frustrating is the use of the words “job creation” as a way to receive government subsidies for private enterprise. Job creation is not a government function.

Subsidies are not boosting a proven green energy system, but paying private sector employees to work in a nonviable industry. DiCaprio would be better served finding private grants for further research before asking taxpayers to fund a new enterprise.

Hopefully Trump told little Leo in no uncertain words that if he doesn’t shut up about the climate change BS he’ll find that the Malaysian government has the green light to do as they please in their investigation of the leo foundation scandal.

“Job creation is not a government function.”

100% agree it shouldn’t be.
But the left disagrees. They gotta raise taxes so they can hire more tax collectors. And food stamp workers, too, to “help” all the needy people who are being created daily by being taxed into serfdom.

The flyover people are wise to those types of machinations now, so the lefties need to find ways to “create” new “jobs” out of thin air that they can bill us for.
Voila! The government will now harvest the wind! And store sunshine! They’ll tax us to pay for these energy farms-—and then sell us the “produce!”
Big boxes filled with sunshine and wind, which any citizen with a gun to his head can purchase at the Empty Shelf Ltd gubbermint store-—at gubbermint-regulated and gubbermint subsidized prices!
Yay!

RE: Job creation is not a government function.

How about Job Preservation? Trump/Pence just did that with Carrier.

I’m all for job preservation in the form of creating and maintaining a low regulatory, tax incentive based environment for businesses. That does not interfere with the free market.

But government bailing out green energy company’s and regulating and taxing coal and petroleum to death absolutely interferes with the free market.

I agree he’s consensus building. And most of these libs have never met Trump. They only know what the media tells them and this is Trump going around the media again. He’s very likeable as well and you don’t fight as hard against people you like.
