Obama did more campaigning for Hillary than any sitting President has ever done in my memory and I am 73. And his wife did more than any sitting First Lady ever has. It is all about Obama’s legacy.

Yup ... “O” is sure now, that the wedge he drove into America will stay in place.

I've expressed amazement that Obama would want hillary to follow him to the WH. History is pretty much what the victor decides to say it is. A lot of really bad stuff happened during eight years of Obama, most of it put on its trajectory while hillary was Secretary of State. With another Clinton presidency they would have been the bookends to GWB and Obama's shared policies. They'd get to cast blame on everyone but themselves.

With the Trump victory, hillary is well defined. She's a crooked, elitist, grabby woman who has extremely bad judgement. She gets positive credit for NOTHING!

The Obama's have hated the Clintons since she was in the Senate. And vice versa.

Do you think all those e-mails that suddenly 'appeared' were because WikiLeaks conveniently hacked her server? Do you think Comey came out a week before the election to say...."Hey, look what we found." because it was 'the right thing to do'?

Obama campaigned, half-heartedly for Clinton, spoke more about how the vote would make him look, and how injured he would be, and his legacy was on the line, or if you wanted more of the same you'd vote for Hillary!, and very few mentions of 'the smartest woman in the world' who couldn't even stay upright without help of some kind.

No, this was Obama's last chance to take one more piece of the big pie Clinton wanted desperately, the Presidency. It was the brass ring should could touch, but never have. Obama's last chance to say..."I hate you".

But a Trump victory means that most of his legacy will be undone and there is the possibility that some of his wrongdoings will be uncovered by the new Administration. It will interesting to learn what were in the secret side agreements to the Iran deal. Or the cover-ups in Fast and Furious and the IRS. Or where he was during Benghazi. Despite some personal glee Obama might take in a Hillary defeat, there is no doubt that a Hillary victory would have served him better.

With respect, I disagree and I’m right behind you in my late sixties.
Even Hillary is reported to be blaming Obama for not doing enough.
I also think Obama is rather a lazy person who thought Hillary was a shoe in.

obama and Big Foot campaigning for her[ Hillary] is one more reason she lost. The obamas knew that they were doing her more harm than good when they campaigned for her. That is why they campaigned for her so much.

Obama has always acted un-presidential...but that’s what community organizers do.

Question: Why did Hillary cancel her fireworks show on election night two days before the election? It’s been asserted that up until about 9:30 that night, when swing states started coming in, she thought she had won, so why did she cancel the fireworks when she did?

If she had lost to Jeb Bush he’d be happy.
Jeb could easily be manipulated by polls and “smart people” and cajoled into keeping most of Obama’s legacy in place.

Trump is gonna take a wrecking ball to it.
Barky is very visibly unhappy these days.

We’re 20+ trillion in debt and the economy is hanging by a thread. They want to be able to hang this on someone other than democrats.

He could have been president for four terms or until he died of a cerebral hemorrhage at Warm Springs, Georgia. He symbolizes the political success of social “justice” in America like no one else.

BUT...he has no influence that helps the party. He has no “coattails” as they say. He is not going to be the future guiding light of the social “justice” firmament, though he would flatter himself that he should be. He may try not to go quiet into that good night, but he will only become an angry man breaking table lamps in the rec room at the rest home shouting angrily that no one comes to see him.

No, a new star will arise, a Jimmeh with a beaming smile, or even another “articulate” black man, maybe a woman, with a new slogan and new injustices and outrages shining for the masses.

...perfect position now to negotiate ...

Excellent point! I still think he's going to pardon the witch because she has dirt on him. He has to be worried she's going to roll on him if she is prosecuted.

Presidents are limited to two consecutive terms. But can Obama run in 2020?

The story is she didn’t cancel the fireworks. They were being sponsored by a big donor who evidently had access to real poll numbers and decided not to waste the money. I read it here and have no inside info and don’t remember who posted it.

But it was evident from the video showing Bill literally jumping up and down in delight early in the evening that they really thought they were going to win.

It was very obvious to me that neither Barack nor Bill wanted her to win....

But we don’t see her blaming them, do we?

LOL. Now that is a stretch. The Narcissist-in-Chief believes that his policies and himself are extremely popular. He has said it many times including on the campaign trail. He blames Hillary for the loss, not himself.

IMO the Clinton Crime Family has dirt on Obama. It was used to gain his cooperation and support. And Obama knew that his legacy was tied to a Clinton victory. She represented his third term.

HILLARY was even a lazy person who thought Hillary was a shoe-in.

All she did was meet with donors.
