How many times are Economists correct?
However, that doesn't mean that the current trade deals can't be more balanced.
Very insightful
The leftists are quite similar to the pharisees and the
palistinians
It will all come crumbling down around them when God desides the time is right
The result may defy worldly sense, though. Someone could buy the fellow out for reasons beyond human fathoming.
We’re “too big to fail”, but there is nobody bigger to stop it. So the failure will come. Same goes for the rest of the civilized world at this point. We’re all in the same boat.
There’s one more step up yet, however — God.
Maybe I tend to be over-optimistic, or be optimistic about the wrong things. But a miracle (or what the world would call colossal luck) could reveal a new source of blessing to America. What if, just as a hypothesis, a gold mine were found in some Federal territory, and it had enough gold to pay off the national debt? Do you think someone like Donald Trump would say, “DO IT”?
I listen to the bible roughly 90 minutes a day on my commute. Today I was listening to the last few chapters of Revelation and something suddenly hit me.
The verse was about the world being ripe for harvest. Now, I’ve said for many years that the old testament is about a nation - Israel - and their relationship with God. But the New Testament is about the relationship of the individual human with God. That is, you can see the nation of israel “mature”, and the new testament talks about the increase of maturity of the individual.
But this verse in revelation seems to talk about the entire human race, as a single entity, reaching a certain point of “ripeness” for harvest. And then I think about all the abominations becoming not only common, but acceptable and even treated as “superior” to the teaching of God.
To cut to the chase: The human race is ripe. We’ve, in a single generation, reached a point of debauchery of unconscionable levels. What is good is said to be evil and what is evil is said to be good. And I know I don’t need to get into specifics here. We all know what they are.
So yes, I believe we are most definitely in the “end times” and the only thing stopping this is the Lord’s return. To me it is as obvious as recognizing the times of the seasons.
