Facebook, Twitter, Google's YouTube and Microsoft must act faster to tackle online hate speech or they will face laws forcing them to do so, the European Commission said on Sunday.

This included removing or disabling access to the content if necessary, better cooperation with civil society organizations and the promotion of "counter-narratives" to hate speech.

In the EU "hate speech" is reporting on the crimes committed by muslim immigrants or objecting to the policies which brought them there. I wish that was an exaggeration or sarcasm but it's absolutely true.
