The White House has certainly been a gayer place these last few years, not just because President Obama and his administration stopped fighting the Defense of Marriage Act, repealed Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and supported federal marriage equality—but also because that administration has a strong LGBTQ presence which informs its commitment to equality.
On Thursday, The White House hosted the Transgender Community Briefing, whose mission, according to the Washington Blade, was to "unite transgender leaders and other community members to discuss policy issues affecting the transgender community and to celebrate the cultural accomplishments of the community."
Local D.C. drag queen Shi-Queeta Lee was invited to perform and mother served the kids some Tina Turner tease, performing (and dropping into a split for) "Proud Mary." Shi-Queeta may have been the first drag queen to perform at The White House, though honestly, who knows what J. Edgar Hoover was doing on the weekends.
The briefing was live-streamed on whitehouse.gov, but in case you missed it, Ms. Lee shared the video of her performance for the world to enjoy and kick a leg up to:

Of course Hoover has been reviled by the American Left, so they and their henchmen in the media have accepted the propaganda at face value - and helped to spread it.

Is there REALLY sufficient evidence to prove that J. Edgar Hoover was a deviant? I’ve read some books which suggest that it was an attempt to force him out of office by dirty tricks.
