Pretty awesome that Trump is doing this.

Have other President-Elects done this? If so, I can't remember.

More respectful common sense on display. Trump tells John, “fire up the ‘Blue Bird,” I’m going on tour to thank the folks who attended my many rallies across the country and supported me in my bid for president.” What other president elect has done this, to this degree, rented the venues, footed the travel and other costs associated with the tour? While the campaign rallies presented a party atmosphere, these will be high celebration for sure. Hope everyone stays safe.

This is a kind, grateful gesture.

He could be resting after what had to be a grueling campaign.

Instead, he wants to thank people for voting for him.

He is a good man. He probably won’t, but if he visits anywhere near upstate New York, I am going to get on a bus and go.

Yes! Brilliant plan. Some of us were having Trump speech withdrawal and more importantly:

Direct speeches to us was the manner in which Trump bypassed the media twisting successfully during the campaign as well.

Trump can begin again to get his message to us, his supporters, and to the others who are open minded - making an end run around the MSM evil spin filters in the middle!

I think this is the main reason to do this more so than 2020 although the “auditioning” process is ongoing, in other words it is most likely both scenarios.

That’s good news. I missed not having his rally speeches to watch anymore. It’s a way for him to help control the narrative about himself too and not just leave it up to the left and the press. These appearances should be good opportunities.

It’s a great idea, and I imagine he’ll take the stage and put forth many of the reasons, etc. for his choices in his cabinet, and what’s on the agenda. Again, communicating directly with Americans and bypassing the corrupt media. They can listen in if they want. Love it.

Awesome that President Trump is out celebrating his victory with the people who gave him that victory instead of confining victory celebrations to the D.C. swamp among the elitist piranhas and alligators.

This is one of the differences between the imperial presidency of Emperor Obama and President Trump, the leader of the new GOP workers’ party: President Obama sat on the throne as people came to kiss his ring, and President Trump rides forth on his victory charger to go out and meet with his people.

There’s so many looney leftist out there, Trump needs to beef up security!

I’m not so sure this is a wise move to expose himself to so many people. This win is too precious to lose.

I’m also thinking the inauguration is going to be plagued by unrest and risk to the President-elect.

An inaugural speech in the January cold to masses of people, some of whom are angry/violent lefties (when we have television and internet to convey the same message) should be a thing of the past.

On inauguration day, Trump can drive the USS Iowa up the Potomac for the festivities.

Take off a few hours early and pay a visit to East Tennessee before heading north to Cincinnati. They’re hurting after these fires, ask what he can do to help, both now and later as President.
