The allegations against Comet Ping Pong, reported by the New York Times, are absurd on their face and detached from any gossamer thread of fact. They took root in the dark crevices of the Web and took flight thanks to social media platforms, whose witless “who, us?” posture in the face of misinformation and outright lunacy is a civic embarrassment.
More than that, the use of social media as a platform for outright lies about public figures and, in this case, malevolent rumors about a pleasant neighborhood restaurant popular with families is a menace to private lives, peace and prosperity. In response to the firestorm of anonymous death threats and warnings directed at Comet’s owner, James Alefantis, and some of his employees, D.C. police have had to deploy officers to keep an eye on the restaurant.
Fake and unfounded “news” articles suggesting that Comet’s backrooms, heretofore known for a couple of ping-pong tables and a play area for kids, were the scene of trafficked and molested children have appeared on Facebook, as well as on websites serving as platforms for scurrilous disinformation and fantasy conspiracies.
So what if Mr. Alefantis has never met Ms. Clinton and neither traffics nor abuses children? Social media, a neutral host body for parasitical insanity, have turned their algorithmic gaze upon him. The culprits include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit and other platforms that have done too little to safeguard their sites from deception and fraud. This article is specifically being used by wikipedia to justify wholesale censoring of reports of pizzagate related information about comet ping pong restaurant in Washington, DC., john podesta's alleged communications regarding pedophilia related events, etc.
Pizza gate is why they are now recounting the damned election. Kid napping, torturing, raping, murdering, and eating children. The shit is off the chart.
"Fake news" is just one form of propaganda. There's nothing new about it. It is manufactured sloganism using terms so oft-repeated that they hav lost not only their luster, but also their meaning. The social media, urban-legend-filled, is simply not in the same class as the multi-million pulp-printing and broadcasting king-makers.
Our mass media has been converted from genuine journalism of reportage to our own USA Department of Agitation and Propaganda, voluntarily in lockstep with the progressive/communistic/atheistic machine spewing fort newsified doctrine masking as useful, unslanted information.
Instead of calling it "fake news," why don't we just call it what it is: agitprop. Hmmm?

There is a huge difference between a journalist and a reporter.
A reporter is like a good scout, goes out and gather facts and presents them for the reader to decide what they mean.
A journalist has a self promoting agenda and cherry picks facts and makes up stuff to coax the reader to accept their agenda while at the same time promoting themselves as some sort of hero.

Julian Assange has not been heard from for about a month. No one is certain what has happened. Some people thought that WikiLeaks may now be under control of someone else, and Assange may have been abducted. There was additional info that was to be released, and it has not been.
Yet no policeman who saw it and is a father anonymously sent Proof to any media outlet to stop hillary from winning.

really unrelated to pizzagate but its a bizarre story.
I am thinking that the dogs that are not barking in all of the pizza gate stuff are the federal and local special victims units. They are supposedly the experts in child molestations. I would expect them to be able to take a quick look at the podesta email messages and determine if they were all just coincidence, or evidence of wrongdoing, or something in between.
By something in between I mean that these guys are involved in pedophilia as alleged, but that the information made public so far is not cumulatively actionable according to law.
It would make sense to me that the last alternative is the actual current state of affairs, and that another shoe needs to drop (if the other shoe can be found at all) before anything else substantial can happen. Meanwhile, The bad guys are counting on ridicule and the msm to draw attention away from the smoke.
Or it could be there was too much smoke and it is the investigators who need the smoke cleared. With all that smoke any pedophile ring still operating in DC is laying low.
Redirect in the form of the poor misguided conspiracy, fake new sites is probably a ruse. Nothing will or can happen for many months, two years from now we’ll hear about a ring being shutdown.
