Trump shouldn’t tip his hand until obama is out of office.

I don’t see that as a problem, rather a benefit.

She handled SAP’s, potentially allowing them to be shared with the whole planet, and millions of Americans could die in an attack before we get our boots on, because they may indeed have inside info on all our assets, intelligence, and well response time.

BUT, we should pardon her? For politics’ sake?

Alan Dershowitz?

WTF, Chuck?

This is a great idea. Hillary wouldn’t go to prison for her crimes, but the court of public opinion would hand down a harsh sentence. Since the situation would be on trial instead of her, all of the crimes would be right there without any hope of denial. The most ardent Clinton clingers could no longer deny what has been so obvious to so many for so long.
Her teflon Midas touch would be converted to a kiss of death, so anyone affiliated with the Clintons in their pay to play schemes would crawl back into their hole and stay there.

How is it that Chelsie is worth so much money? Perhaps Momma will be visiting her in prison.

This would be Watergate x 100. And it would follow the Democrats for at least a century. They still drag up Watergate, which happened 40 years ago. This situation should have way more milage.

To let her off is bad in two ways. Firstly, it reinforces the example that there are two tiers of Justice. Secondly, all that money and power will just easily transfer to the next generation, Chelsea, who has been taught in the ways of her parents.

A criminal prosecution of someone in that position would likely be pointless, but a thorough investigation needs to be done and all of the wrongdoing must be exposed. Perhaps some of the underlings might be prosecuted, but that would probably be the extent of it.

The reason a criminal prosecution of Hillary Clinton isn't likely to go anywhere is that the U.S. government could not allow her to mount a defense. Once you are charged with a crime, you have almost an open book when it comes to calling witnesses and issuing subpoenas for documents that could be used in your defense. When you're dealing with someone whose very position involves access to classified material, the prosecution would be forced to drop the case because the entire defense would be built on access to witnesses and documents that could never be allowed into the public domain.

The matter is resolved. Trump is a big picture guy. He wants a legacy, not to waste time looking back at this. Not everyone who gets pulled over for speeding gets a ticket. There is discretion. This is done. It’s been looked at thoroughly. Time for some forward looking solutions to the issues facing our country, most importantly keeping our country safe from terrorists, leadership from the top and restoring our place of respect throughout the world.

The real problem is.....Hillary took down the whole Dem party with her. They're in shambles. They have no leaders and are in total disarray.

Ha...more like an opportunity.

On a separate issue is CAIR aficionado Ellison still in line for minority leader...?

I was with him right up until the "pardon Hillary" bit.

I was with him right up until the "Alan Dershowitz" appointment.

We’re I Trump I’d publicly declare that his administration would rapidly process an extradition request for Eric Holder and the BATF goons who are complicit in Fast and Furious.

I would not declare it publicly, but I would be sending the message privately through international back channels, so that the request would be more likely to occur, since the requesting government would be assured that the request would be granted.

American Thinker has caught FR Disease, where almost every person recommended for a Trump job is at least 70 (Doucheyerwitz is closer to 80).

Will congress have the cajones to follow thru?

Will the FBI and DOJ under Trump have the cajones to follow thru?

The problem with that scenario is that Trump campaigned on a theme of "draining the swamp," and must have been the first presidential candidate in a century (if not since the founding of this country) to openly call his opponent a criminal.

He can't just walk away from this. He'll lose a ton of credibility before he's even inaugurated.

Time for some forward looking solutions to the issues facing our country, most importantly keeping our country safe from terrorists, leadership from the top and restoring our place of respect throughout the world.

Uh -- what? It's pathetic how many Freepers I've seen who honestly believe the Trump administration will be incapable of doing more than three things at one time.

I'll suggest another alternative.

Let the FBI, IRS, and DoJ do their job without political interference, after replacing the leadership.

Every single person involved should be investigated. The usual strategy is to indict them for a felony offense, and then offer a plea to a misdemeanor of "unlawful removal or retention of classified information". The penalty is usually a fine and probation.

Presuming they take the plea: once a case is complete and a sentence is imposed, Trump should commute the sentence. There's no pardon, the stain is permanent, and we are spared the spectacle of imprisonment. Of course, if anyone choose to fight it and a jury finds them guilty, then they get to serve the entire sentence.

Trump DID NOT say he forgave her or would not prosecute her, what he said is HE WOULD NOT DO IT...because he can't but his A.G. and others CAN and WILL...

The words that he says is not what the media are saying he said...

How about if the govt took down the Clinton Foundation and at some point in the process offered her immunity? She would certainly turn on anyone to avoid prosecution. The Clinton Foundation needs to be vaporized.

I was wondering if Trump might change his mind once Obama was out of office. I hope so.

It really isn't Trump's decision. How can he criticize Obama for interfering with the justice system and equal treatment under the law and direct the FBI and DOJ not to prosecute her? Trump needs to stay out of it and let the law take its course.
