Warren asks federal agency to review Trump’s ‘chaotic’ transition

Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Elijah Cummings issued a request Wednesday for a federal agency to review President-elect Donald Trump’s transition to the White House amid reports of chaos and disarray.

In the letter to the Government Accountability Office, Warren and Cummings laid out a number of concerns regarding the transfer of power, including potential conflicts of interest related to President-elect Trump’s businesses and his family.

Up to $9.5 million has been allocated by Congress for the transition, the two Democrats wrote.

“Mr. Trump’s apparent conflicts of interest — and his behavior during the campaign and after his election — raise questions about the use of taxpayer funds during the transition,” they wrote.

On Tuesday, Trump told The New York Times he was not required to place boundaries between his business and his administration.

“The president can’t have a conflict of interest,” he said.

The letter to the GAO also pointed to other reports of diplomats being hosted by the Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C., payments from the Secret Service due to Trump’s use of his own plane for transportation, and potential violations of national security protocol.

Warren and Cummings asked that that review begin “as quickly as possible.” Trump will be inaugurated Jan. 20.

I see that also. Palin was the first politician in history to be litigated out of office. Trump should take heed.

Hyperventilating leftist trolls fretting over all things Trump.

Imagine that.

You lost leftist socialist progressive scumbags. Sucks to be you.

Time to embrace the winning, because it doesn’t get old.

I’d like a federal investigation of how Fauxcohontas got hired for her high paid job (probably subsidized by us) which was purportedly reserved for an Indian when she has no Indian blood or background? She tell heap big fairy tale, I’ll bet.

A quick check of the calendar reveals that Trump won’t even be elected until 19 December and inauguration day isn’t until 20 January. So what sort of “transition”, exactly, is anyone expecting? Shall we revive 0bama’s fictive and embarrassing “Office Of The President-elect?”

Hokumpunkas wants to be the 1st woman president. If she harasses Trump she will wind up being the next Cindy Sheehan or Jane Fonda.

Remember how the last Republican administration took over?

Bill Clinton withheld transition funds from George Bush for a month while Al Gore contested the election in a Florida court. When Gore lost, Bush had to scramble to make up for lost time.

Eight months later, Democrats were still blocking Bush's Deputy Secretary confirmations when the 9/11 terrorist attacks happened.

This is the arrogance of someone whose only claim to ‘stature’ is based upon an academic career - that was solicited on the basis of a tenuous at best characterization of herself as a minority. The political careers of Hillary, Bill, Obama, and a huge swath of the left were all forged on the basis of their ‘academic’ pedigrees, and not upon any real accomplishments beyond this. The arrogance that comes with this pedigree is a huge contributor to the arrogance they display in public office. Unfortunately for them, the public has tired of their arrogance and elitism, and have begun to see the truth behind who they are. No one likes to have others look down their noses at them.

Hey! I’m from Massachusetts. The home of the first Patriots that shed their blood.

Now, it’s quire obvious that the Spirit of the Revolution (American) was hijacked by those who thought it was the Communist Revolution. There are still a number of us in central and western MA who give a damn. Purge the Cities, and you would have sanity once again. Lie-awatha and the other know-nothing senator will eventually go the way of the dodo bird. It just can’t happen fast enough.

I will never forgive Palin for throwing in the towel. She should have asked for and received any and all financial help and prevailed in court.

There is always a false premise in their thinking and arguments. That is the basis for their reasoning.
