Eligibility: Awarded by the President for exceptionally meritorious contributions to national security interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other exceptionally significant public or private endeavors. It is bestowed at the sole discretion of the President.
Given the above that list should be cut by 70%
I have a suspicion that most academic honors, awards, non-military medals and high level honors like the Nobel and Pulitzer prizes go to liberals. What is important isn’t what the person has done. It’s the politics they profess.
A literary agent told me my manuscript was wonderful and he’d represent me if I’d make the main character gay. I considered it as a way of getting my foot in the door, but it turned my stomach, and, more importantly, the story simply wouldn’t have worked. I have seven novels on Amazon and none of them has been published by the mainstream press.

Odumbo is “meaningless” but he is still dangerous. Giving everyone such a medal is the same as giving a kid a trophy for just competing. Every one of our military personnel should then be given a “Medal Of Freedom” for being in the military, doing so is more appropriate than giving medals to those such as odumbo has given.
