I hope he offers them a reset: “Traditional” deference to the media’s wishes will be based on their reformation.
I hope he says that he will deny them access to his administration if they continue their one sided reporting
I imagine the conversation will go something like this:
Media Exec: You want us to slavishly support absolutely anything you propose? That’s not going to happen.
Trump: Not at all. I want you to accurately report the news without editorializing in every news story against 100% of my ideas.
Media Exec: We will not be your slaves.
Trump: I’m not asking for that. I want you to be accurate.
Media Exec: We are not your lackeys.
Trump: Just report the truth.
Media Exec: You are unreasonable. I knew we should have pushed harder to get Hillary elected. This is a disaster for journalism.
He’s going to tell them that they can actually be objective and fair, or face a return of the Fairness Doctrine with equal time right of reply strictly enforced for rebuttal of their painfully slanted propaganda.
Maybe he will bring up the “fairness doctrine,” from his perspective...
Inform them that the RULE OF LAW now resides in America Again, and that includes the ANTI-TRUST LAWS to break up the big media conglomerates.

I’d start the meeting like this
“You say we have a ‘fake news’ crisis now.

Do you want to move forward with ‘fake’ journalism and compete with kids in Macedonia? If not, how do we get back to ‘real journalism’.”

Donald Trump had his Own Hit Show,He knows only too well how the Hollywood Money Laundering operation works. My guess is it he is going to use that knowledge as LEVERAGE.
