Senator Charles Schumer received praise from President-Elect Donald Trump in a tweet Sunday.
In the tweet posted just after 9:00 a.m. Trump said Schumer, "has the ability to get things done."
Schumer was recently selected to be the Minority Leader in the Senate, replacing U.S. Senator for Nevada Harry Reid.
Trump also added that he and Schumer have always had a good relationship.

Trump is flattering his enemies before he ultimately defeats them.
Psychological warfare.
Looks like he is following Teddy Roosevelt’s “big stick” strategy.
Trump said Schumer, “has the ability to get things done.”

When pushed hard or facing a humiliating defeat. He’ll cooperate when he has no other choice.
Trump may consider Reid to be a bigger rat b@$t@rd than Chuck You Schumer.
He could have said nothing.

Trump says he can get things done because he EXPECTS him to get things done. Trump will beat him like a Rented Donk if he doesn’t!
Yeah, whatever.
We have to admit this is what really bothers us when GOPe RINO types do it.
My money says he is playing with Schumer right now, and that Mr Trump living in New York side by side with the Schumer, has ALL THE DIRT on Schumer he will ever need to force him to come around.
A tweet is hardly enthusiastic praise. President-elect Trump should save himself the trouble. Schumer is not a friend and will do nothing to help President Trump advance his agenda.

What Trump should have said is...”I expect him to help “US” get things done” ...
Trump just gave him way too much credit and power. That’s the difference between well thought out Tweets and ones he will wish he could take back.
Killing your enemies with kindness.
The devastated libs are frantic to get Trump into a spitting mat’ch so they can use it to prove him unqualified and unstable foroffice. He has remained above the fray and left the wildly flailing Dems to whine and cry alone.
Maybe Trump’s got the goods on Schumer’s precious niece.
Of course there are negatives...but Trump is going after his positives. And one of them is "He gets things done".
I keep hearing about how Schumer is better at “reaching across the aisle” than Reid. In fact, on many issues, Schumer is far worse than Reid - e.g. Schumer is much more of a gun-grabber than Reid has ever been. Chucky’s reputation for “reaching across the aisle” was mostly due to the fact that establishment Republicans love amnesty and open borders as much as establishment Democrats do, albeit for somewhat different reasons.
