A federal judge gave new citizens, and anti-Trump activists, a cold dose of reality at a U.S. Citizenship ceremony on Thursday.
“I can assure you that whether you voted for him or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president,” Judge John Primomo told the new citizens at the San Antonio ceremony. “He will be your president and if you do not like that, you need to go to another country.”
Primomo told KENS5 afterward that he didn’t even vote for Trump and that he meant his statement as a message of unity and respect for the office of president.
He also took aim at Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players who sit or kneel during the national anthem.
“I detest that because you can protest things that happen in this country,” Primomo said. “You have every right to. You don’t do that by offending national symbols like the national anthem and the flag of the United States.”
Trump doesn’t mind legal immigrants, but some legal immigrants might mind Trump....

Surely he misspoke. Those ‘new’ citizens were not eligible to VOTE!!!!!!!
Perhaps he meant ‘if you did not support him’.
Trump will be their POTUS in the same way Obama was mine. I had to fight a chronic gag reflex for eight years, but I lived. Most of them will too.

Legal Immigrants like Trump..trust me Ive talked to a few of them. Our gardener has been in this country for over 20 years, came to the US LEGALLY..He and my Dad were best friends til my Dad passed away in 1998..he absolutely DESPISES illegal aliens..he told us he voted for Trump

Before I became a US Citizen on June 12, 1977 I didn't even think about voting, but I guess times have changed.

An America first judge...
Hopefully at a swearing in ceremony a judge doesn’t tell the news citizens that it doesn’t matter if they voted for him or not. One would hope that prior to the swearing in they didn’t vote for anyone in the USA.

Judge sounds like USSC material to me.
Yes it is EXACTLY what the judge said. He said “Donald Trump is your president and if you don’t like that, you need to go to another country”.
If he was talking about DJT, he would have said if you don’t like “him”. He is talking about he fact that Donald Trump is the president. No judge in his right mind would demand that anyone like a person.
It’s not worth arguing.
