A federal judge in San Antonio, Texas, told an audience during a citizenship ceremony that if they don’t like President-elect Donald Trump, they should go to another country.
John Primomo, a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court in the Western District of Texas, was presiding over the ceremony on Thursday. He criticized Americans who have protested in the days after Trump won the elections, according to KHOU.
“I can assure you that whether you voted for him or you did not vote for him, if you are a citizen of the United States, he is your president,” Primomo said in a speech. “He will be your president and if you do not like that, you need to go to another country.”

Maybe it’s too subtle, but he didn’t say you have to like Trump or leave the country. He said that Trump is your president, and if you don’t like that, leave the country. He was calling for the recognition of the presidency as an office.

The headline is misleading. He said that if they didn’t like the fact that Trump will be the President, they should leave. That’s different. I don’t like Trump, although I prefer him to the available alternatives by a massive amount. However, I think the system that made him the President-elect is the best available in the world.
Hey at least these are people doing the right thing and abiding by the law and becoming citizens. Something tells me they’re more conservative than liberal.
